Our CEO Danny Sawh, an overseas based Guyanese investor for over 28 years
Danny Sawh, an overseas based Guyanese started his entrepreneurial journey over 30 years ago in New York City by launching Stonewall Contracting Corp. Stonewall Contracting, with Sawh at the helm, would have successfully completed New York City and New York State construction contracts valued over 200M USD over the years.
These included new schools, courthouses, underground train stations, hospitals, theaters, playgrounds, police facilities, public housing, and a multi-million (USD) dollar high-end restaurant in Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. Prior to its multi-billion (GYD) dollar Windsor Estates investment in Guyana, Stonewall Contracting Corporation was the largest Public Works General Contracting firm owned and operated by someone from the Caribbean on the East coast of the United States. Currently he has shifted his focus from the US to Guyana considering the growth potential.
Vision to launch Guyana's first Florida Style Gated Community
Danny Sawh started Windsor Estates with a vision to launch the first Florida Style Gated Community in Guyana back in 2013, and within a few short years, the project was widely acclaimed as Guyana`s most successful Real Estate Project. The flagship location, Windsor Estates of Peter`s Hall, is a 40 acre development, offering a mix of single family homes, townhomes, and luxury condominiums. 10 years later, the project is in it`s final stages, with only a slate of condominium units remaining for sale.
The vision for our next Project, Windsor Laguna
The vision for our next Project, Windsor Laguna, is to leave a permanent mark on Guyana`s real estate landscape. The project, consisting of 110 acres, is centered around Guyana`s first blue water lagoon, unrivaled recreational facilities and resort style amenities, and bespoke home design options that were designed with purpose, and meant to leave an impression. This project will differ slightly from our flagship project in Peter`s Hall, whereby there is a plan to incorporate some light commercial space, retail plaza, and town center.
